What if I told you that you’d never have to worry about the size of your body ever again?
Imagine if you could confidently slip on a bikini, with no prior warning, and saunter down to the beach. Imagine if you could go shopping for new clothes without crying in the dressing room. And imagine if you could actually wear the sort of clothes today that you’ve always dreamed of.
Now, what if I told you that you could eat whatever you want, any time you want, and not feel guilty about it?
This is a world where no food is “off-limits”, and you would no longer define your day by the kind of food you did or didn’t eat. Your worth wouldn’t be dictated by the number on a scale, and you would *shock horror* actually like who you saw whenever you looked in the mirror.
Does all of this sound too good to be true?
Well, my friend, it isn’t. It’s totally possible. And I have the secret that I’d like to share it with you.
You can achieve all of the things mentioned above, and miraculously, you won’t have to focus on changing your physical appearance at all!
It’s all to do with changing your mindset.
In fact, my whole coaching business is based on this very notion: change the way you think, and you can change the way you feel.
You don’t need to go on a drastic 12-week transformation programme, living off lettuce and working out to extremes, to get the perfect body.
I used to believe, like so many women do, that losing weight would hold all the answers to the happy life that seemed just out of reach. I believed that my life would finally begin once I was a just a little bit thinner.
But when I finally got “there”, I was just as miserable and uncomfortable in my own body as I always had been. I was incredibly confused. And with time, I realised that unless I wanted to carry on that way forever, something needed to change.
And that something was the way I thought.
Now, make no mistake, these changes aren’t things that can just happen overnight.
It’s also not particularly easy. I mean, think about it: all of these thoughts and feelings have come as a result of learned behaviours, some of which have been entrenched in our subconscious over decades.
These entrenched beliefs about how we “should” look, what we “should” weigh, or how our self-worth “should” be determined are complicated to untangle. But I want to help you get through to the other side.
Choosing to live a life free from dieting, and with total freedom around food, is a choice we can all make today. Sure, it feels scary at first. But that’s the case for lots of things worth doing.
Choosing self-acceptance and self-love feels a damn sight more exciting than focusing on a life of deprivation, restriction, calorie counting, step counting, and tracking macros.
I work with women from all over the world through my 1:1 coaching business to help them shift their mindset towards actually liking their bodies (in the immortal words of Mr. Darcy) just as they are. You really can get to a point where you like the person you see in the mirror. Truly loving what stares back will follow naturally after that.
You’re worth so much more than just your physical appearance. Once you start viewing your body as a vehicle for living life and making your dreams come true, and not just a ornament to be looked at, everything can change.
If you like the idea of getting the perfect body, or if any of this has resonated with you, head to www.margiebroadhead.com and join the countless number of women I have worked with over the years to move from body loathing to body loving.
