Drum roll please….I’ve launched a brand new podcast called…Desert Island Dishes!
I’m pretty excited about this, but also pretty nervous. This is something I’ve been thinking about doing for ages now, but for lots of different reasons its taken me a while to get on it.
But here I am.
As you can probably imagine, it follows a vaguely similar format to the infamous Desert Island Discs from BBC Radio 4, only instead of discs, we talk dishes!
I get to interview interesting people doing all sorts of fascinating things. I want to ask them about what they do, how they got there, and what they think about things. And then of course – I ask them about their desert island dishes. We find out what they love to eat, what food means to them, and just get a bit of an insight into that part of their lives – which is always interesting!
I really hope you enjoy listening, and I’m so excited about getting to chat to a whole host of fascinating and inspiring people who are all doing amazing things. Some of the people are doing food related stuff, and some are not. Some might be fantastic cooks, and some might not be. But we all eat, and what we choose to eat is where I think it gets interesting.
For me, this is a chance to combine my interests in starting your own business, how people even go about doing that, and (of course) food! You know how much I love all things delicious and all that good stuff!
It’s pretty much a chance for me to be really nosey, which is great! Haha!
I’ve put together a little trailer for you, where you can find out all about it – so head over to your favourite podcast app, and subscribe to Desert Island Dishes. Have a listen on iTunes here!
The first episode is coming very soon, so keep your eyes (and ears peeled!)
