I long for the day I have enough space to have a beautiful drinks trolley. To me they are just the definition of being grown up. And sophisticated. Of which, I feel I am neither.
They just look so elegant and beautiful and they hark back to the days where making a drink, or offering a cup of tea was a real occasion in itself. Things just do taste better when served off a glamorous trolley. Whether it’s cocktails, cups of teas or a lovely hunk of cake, they are made all the more delicious by the glamorous style in which they are served.
They make a fab party piece, as well as just looking lovely day to day. They are by no means limited to displaying drinks, no siree. They look beautiful just as a little side table, topped with lovely flowers, they can store all your trinkets and I’ve even seen them looking completely beautiful in bathrooms.
Oh trolley of many talents.
I fear my trolley-of-the-future will not be quite so neat as this one, but certainly the trolley of my dreams is…
This one has a lovely big wheel, (tries to suppress excited squeals…). So sweet and dinky (not drinky)
The mere fact this one has a pineapple sitting on it and is set against a pink wall just means it’s set my heart fluttering at an unnatural pace.
Florals, colour and an eye catching print bring this trolley to life..
Now, this one is as pretty as a picture. Probably not how it would look day to day, but for a party I don’t think you could find a more beautiful way of displaying your drinks.
Yes, I am completely obsessed with golden and bronze hues. My little house is full of golden coloured trinkets and accents. But, a trolley needn’t be golden to catch my eye…look at this lovely little industrial number…
And just to prove my point that trolleys needed just be adorned with drinks and glasses. How great does this one look as a gorgeous side table in a sitting room. And you can buy this exact one from here. Such a beautiful slate grey and don’t even get me started on how gorgeous that vase is, with hydrangeas..
Now I don’t know about you but I’m off to make myself a little tipple. I’m thinking something with pear, pomegranate and ginger…x
