It’s National Cocktail Week, and so to celebrate, last night we went for cocktails at Graphic.
Graphic is a really cool bar in Soho that has the most extensive gin collection in the UK. Quite a claim and quite delicious.
The trademark gin cocktails are served in quirky customised paint tins which taste even better than they look.
It’s a really cool bar, the walls are decorated with work of well known urban artists and even the lights are trendy!
Obviously we had to try the food too which looked too good to miss. But showing restraint, we only ordered two bar snacks which were amazing. The photos don’t do them justice but they really were very good!
We opted for the red paint pot cocktail (Beefeater gin, Briottet mixed berry liqueurs, fresh lemon juice, Angostura bitters and cranberry juice) – dangerously delicious.
And the green paint pot cocktail (Hendricks gin, fresh mint and cucumber, fresh lemon juice, lemon bitters, pressed apple juice) with a delicious grapefruit cocktail.
Then, we went for the Smoky Cheese Polenta Chips with homemade tomato sauce – I’m going to do a recipe for these soon, they are so good!
And Honey and Mustard Cumberland sausages with stilton mash. This stilton mash was incredible. I’m definitely going to start offering it on my canape menu to go with my special cocktail sausages. I’m not even sure if it actually had potato in it, it was more just a delicious stilton-y cheese fondue. Yum.
